Wachovia Analyst Predicts 2009 Radio Revenue to Fall 13%
Wachovia broadcast analyst Marci Ryvicker is forecasting 2009 radio industry
revenue to decline by 13%, and she says even this number may be too
optimistic. The firm expects Emmis and Saga Communications to be the best
performers in 2009, with high single digit revenue declines vs. the double

Charlotte Burke Resigns as KDWN-AM/Las Vegas PD
Charlotte Burke
resigns as Program Director of Beasley's News/Talk KDWN-AM/Las Vegas,
effective January 9, in order to spend some quality time with her family.
The 24-year industry vet joined the station in September, 2006, from Sirius
Satellite Radio where she was VP/GM of its Martha Stewart Living Radio
channel which she launched in September, 2005.

Westwood One Appoints Drucker, Barnes to Network VPs
Westwood One appoints Robyn Drucker to VP/Pricing-Sales Planning and
Jennifer Barnes to VP/Systems & Operations of its network division. Both
Drucker and Barnes assume these newly created positions immediately and will
be based in New York reporting to Executive VP/COO Cathy Csukas.
"Strategic sales planning and solid operations management are fundamental
to the success of our business and to higher levels of accountability to our
advertisers," said Csukas.

CC/Boston's McConnell Adds MM Duties in Providence
Clear Channel/Boston Market Manager Tom McConnell adds similar duties at the
company's 4-station group in Providence, including Rock WHJY-FM, Classic
Hits WWBB-FM (B101), Hot AC WSNE-FM (93.3 Coast FM) and News/Talk WHJJ-AM.
He replaces Jim Corwin. McConnell previously served in a Regional VP
since August, 2006, and will now concentrate on the Boston-Providence
clusters.

Dial Global promotes Danny Kutrick to Director of Customer Service for the
company's Dial Global Programming group. He had served as Manager of Dial
Global Programming's customer service team. Prior to his customer service
position with Dial Global, Kutrick worked as a marketing assistant with MJI
Interactive since 2002.

CBS Radio/San Francisco Taps Michael Martin as VP/P
Michael Martin
joins CBS Radio/San Francisco as VP/Programming for Rhythmic AC KMQV-FM
(MOViN 99.7), Hot AC KLLC-FM (Alice@97.3), Alternative KITS-FM and Classic
Hits KFRC-AM. He replaces Mike Preston. Most recently, the veteran
programmer was VP/P for Clear Channel/Los Angeles until last week, when he
announced he would return to the Bay Area for family reasons.

CCR Launches Real Time Traffic on 50 HD Radio Channels
Clear Channel Radio's
Total Traffic Network (CCTTN) says it's the first company to launch real
time traffic services over HD Radio channels. The service is live and
operational in 50 markets and Dual Electronics has launched the first
commercial personal navigation device to support this service.

Chris Berry is leaving Citadel News/Talk WMAL-AM/Washington, DC, as
President/GM, a position he's held since November, 2002. Previously, he
served as VP and GM/Operations for ABC Radio News from 1999-2002. Before
that, Berry was Director/News & Programming for all News WBBM-AM/Chicago.
Co-owned WRQX-FM and WJZW-FM General Manager Jeff Boden adds Berry's
previous duties.

Emmis Ups WQHT GSM Harry Clark to New York DOS
Emmis ups Rhythmic CHR WQHT-FM (Hot 97)/New York General Sales Manager Harry
Clark to Director of Sales for 3-station cluster there. He replaces
Alexandra Cameron, who is now the cluster's Market Manager overseeing Hot
97, Urban AC WRKS-FM (98.7 Kiss FM) and AAA WRXP-FM. "I am thrilled with
this opportunity to serve Emmis and the New York advertising community in a
greater capacity within this role and am confident that with the team of
passionate winners I work with we will lead the industry toward innovative
ways of reinvention to prove radio's value once again, despite a down
economy," said Clark.

beginning January 7. Most recently, he did mornings at Clear Channel's
WIOQ-FM (Q102)/Philadelphia until last May after the CHR outlet has decided
to go in a more music direction. Booker came to Q102 from WFNY-FM (92.3 Free
FM)/New York where he did nights.

promoted to Program Director, effective January 5 replacing the exiting Joe
Croft. Croft, who served as KDUV's PD for more than a decade, will remain at

KHRO-AM after three years. Strelzin, a veteran announcer and retired school
